- no supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence
(a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises, or
(b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended
- every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

Conditions consistent with the operating schedule

For the prevention of crime and disorder:

The CCTV installation inside and outside the store will be maintained in good working order.

For public safety: None.

For the prevention of public nuisance:

Low level walls, and canopies directly adjoining the store, will be removed.

Artificial lighting will be provided outside the store to deter people from congregating there.

Notices will be displayed at the store exit requesting customers to be respectful of local residents as the customers leave the store.

A noise management strategy will be developed.

For the protection of children from harm:

The store will operate a ‘Challenge 21’ policy whereby any person seeking to buy alcohol who appears to be under 21 will be asked to provide suitable evidence as proof of their age; no sale will be made to them if they are unable to do so.

Signs explaining the above policy will be displayed in the point of sale area.

A record of refusals of sales will be kept.
